Track Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Track Design Engineer to lead on track design projects in VIC and contribute to major rail projects nationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Supervise project staff and review deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards.
  • Monitor costs and ensure they do not exceed the predetermined and approved budget costs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years commercial experience in track design and project management.
  • Chartered (CPEng) and preferably with existing competencies with Victorian and national rail agencies.
  • Practical knowledge and experience using civil design software i.e. 12d or Bentley OpenRail or Microstation.
