Permit to Work Coordinator

The UGL Permit to Work Supervisor is a critical position responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient coordination of all permit-to-work requests within a UGL commissioning zone.
This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to interface and coordinate with Construction and Commissioning Supervisors, ensuring proposed work does not conflict with other activities and is covered by the appropriate permit.
The successful candidate will have 5 years' experience in Construction and Commissioning Supervisor/Lead roles, with previous experience as an Isolations/Permit Officer or similar.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating submission of all UGL commissioning permits to work, including commissioning minor works permits, permits to energise, and commissioning access permits.
- Attending daily PTW coordination meetings and ensuring UGL personnel compliance with the permit to work process and procedures.
- Understanding and being familiar with CPBJH JV Isolations, Energisation, and PTW procedures and forms.
About You
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in Construction and Commissioning Supervision, who is able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key qualifications include:
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in a related industry discipline (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge with Permit to Work and Isolation/Tagging systems and applicable legislation.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) and negotiation and influencing skills.
