Our dynamic team at Clarendon Homes, Loganholme, is seeking an ambitious and driven Estimating Manager to lead a team of estimators and contribute to the company's success.

The Role

As an Estimating Manager, you will oversee the accurate and efficient estimation of project costs, ensuring proposals align with clients' needs and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of estimators, providing guidance and training
  • Managing team workflow and liaising with other department managers
  • ETS analysis and reporting, contract forecasting, and FTC margin analysis
  • Start margin and erosion analysis
  • Assisting in the implementation of new suppliers and subcontractors with the Procurement Team
  • Assisting in system, process, VPB, and database maintenance
  • Problem-solving with other department managers on problems
  • Reporting on department performance in management meetings
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A driven individual with leadership qualities and a desire to manage a team
  • Relevant qualifications in Residential Building, or Diploma in Building studies, or Diploma in Estimating/Quantity Surveying
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software Framework, PEWin, or similar software
