About This Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to assist in our Aged Care Division as a Domestic Support Worker. The primary role involves providing support to clients in maintaining their ability to manage daily activities within a safe and healthy home environment.

This includes offering limited services to promote wellness and reablement goals. We require someone who is reliable, proactive, and possesses positive attitudes with flexibility in shift times.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carrying out general house cleaning tasks
  • Washing and provision of laundry services, usually via a separate facility
  • Shopping assistance for delivery to the client's home
  • Clothes washing and ironing
  • Dishwashing duties

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in an aged care setting
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • A current Police Clearance
  • Completion of the NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
  • NDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication'
