About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled AI Software Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced technology function. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in planning, designing, and delivering cutting-edge generative AI solutions to drive exceptional product experiences and operational efficiencies.

As an AI Software Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, fellow engineers, and data scientists to design, develop, and implement AI models and end-to-end systems. Your responsibilities will include leading the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of sophisticated generative AI and machine learning models and applications across GCP and Azure.

You will also be responsible for further developing Stake's conversational AI assistant, Stake Compass, and architecting scalable, robust, and maintainable AI software solutions within our technical ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive proficiency in Python and its AI/ML ecosystem (PyTorch, Transformers, scikit-learn, spaCy)
  • Hands-on experience implementing RAG systems, fine-tuning, vectorisation, KNN, and NLP
  • Experience building performant web applications in Python and Flask
  • Advocate for software engineering best practices
