As a key member of our Information Services function, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, leveraging Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, and other relevant technologies to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Design and Implementation of IT Infrastructure: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with the Mind Australia Limited Strategic Plan.
  • Technical Leadership and Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the IT infrastructure.
  • Networking Solutions: Design and implement networking solutions, including WAN/SDWAN and LAN/WLAN technologies, to support the organisation's connectivity requirements across all locations.
  • Microsoft 365 Services: Oversee the configuration and administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams, to enable collaboration and productivity across the organisation.
  • Infrastructure Performance and Capacity: Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity, proactively identifying and addressing issues to maintain optimal system performance and scalability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and guide the Infrastructure team and external technology professionals to ensure the teams are appropriately skilled for the required function and that teamwork is a key focus.
  • Technology Strategy and Planning: Assist in providing Mind Australia Limited Executive and Management with technology through leadership in order to ensure that strategic planning is well informed and that resultant initiatives are managed as a portfolio of investments.
  • Security, Governance, and Compliance: Ensure security, governance, compliance, and continuity of infrastructure technology services.
Requirements
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure Management: Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Azure cloud, Microsoft 365, and virtualisation.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
  • Vendor Engagement: Experience in engaging and negotiating with key technology vendors, particularly where vendors are providing Mind Australia Limited with core infrastructure and services.
