Job Title: Civil Infrastructure Designer

About the Role: Our transport division is seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure Designer to join our team of professionals. We provide integrated solutions that link communities and enhance urban and regional environments.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced designer to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of road projects. You will create designs, drawings, and documentation using software packages like MRWA and Council standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed designs and drawings for small and large-scale road projects.
  • Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers.
  • Operate 12D, CAD, and other drafting/design computer programs.
  • Deliver project outcomes within client specifications and expectations.
  • Mentor and guide younger team members.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of design experience within roads civil drafter.
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in operating software design tools like 12D and AutoCAD packages.
  • Geometric design experience for MRWA and Austroads and other civil infrastructure.
  • Experience in OpenRoads is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a focus on quality outputs.
