About the Role

Border Express is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at the Albury Branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of freight within the branch.

This is a front-line position that requires a high level of communication, professionalism, and customer service. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that our customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move freight safely and efficiently;
  • Conduct regular checks on freight to ensure it is properly secured and protected;
  • Report any damages or issues with freight or equipment to your supervisor immediately;
  • Ensure all paperwork and documentation is accurate and completed on time;
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift;
  • Valid forklift licence;
  • Experience in the transport industry;
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
