About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mining Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide engineering support to the Australia West Growth and Sustainability corporate team and current operating sites. This position is based in the West Perth office but will involve travel to sites as required.

Duties:

  • Provide engineering support to the Australia West Growth and Sustainability corporate team and current operating sites.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure the safe and efficient extraction of minerals and elements.
  • Develop and implement mining processes and systems in a brown or green field site.
  • Utilize mining software, including Vulcan, Surpac, Datamine, and Minesight, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ensure adherence to department, site, and company standards for health, safety, and environment.
  • Collaborate with the project team to achieve agreed-upon HSE goals.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and analytical skills.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and/or Salesforce Administration.
  • Tertiary qualification in Economics, Business, or Science Engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office 365 software.
  • A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, best practices, and functionality.
  • The ability to design and implement new processes on the Salesforce platform and facilitate user adoption.
  • A good understanding of governance principles.
  • A good understanding of contract law and contracting processes.
