Paramedic/Nurse - Patient Transport Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Paramedic/Nurse to join our team as a Casual Patient Transport Specialist. As a key member of our Mobile Patient Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transport services in the Bankstown area.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure the highest level of care.
- Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport, adhering to RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions and maintain an understanding of RFDS MPC policies and procedures.
- Qualified as a Registered Paramedic or Division 1 Registered Nurse.
- Hold current AHPRA registration (or pending approval for Paramedics).
- Experience working in the non-emergency patient transport sector is desirable.
- Knowledge of NSW NEPT service specifications is desirable.
- Hold a FULL NSW Drivers licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
- Availability to work shifts Monday – Friday with on-call weekend availability.

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide evidence of the following vaccinations:
- Hepatitis B.
- Chicken Pox.
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella.
- Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis.
- Annual Influenza.
- COVID-19 (2 vaccinations + booster).
All positions are subject to a National Police Check and holding a Working with Children Check.
