Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Trade Service Centre Manager to join our team in Geelong. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the operations of the trade service centre to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing key performance measures, targets, and activity plans for the trade service centre
  • Regularly monitoring the trade market space to promote and sell new products and services
  • Identifying new business opportunities and mutually beneficial partnerships with key customers and suppliers
  • Servicing the trade service centre network to deliver superior customer service and achieve business performance objectives
  • Supporting the trade service centre network in major customer negotiations
  • Leading the Geelong team and creating an inclusive, collaborative environment for employees

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of trade/wholesale sales experience in a building material/accessory business environment
  • Ability to successfully lead teams to deliver superior customer service and achieve business performance objectives
  • Ability to leverage relationship opportunities to generate sales in line with business strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
