Job Role: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing HVAC systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that all mechanical installations comply with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design commercial and residential HVAC systems, adhering to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software tools.
  • Prepare detailed mechanical design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical services, providing technical support to site teams.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers throughout project life cycles.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in preparing tenders, cost estimates, and project documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and Environmental regulations.
  • Stay updated with new technologies, industry developments, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Membership with Engineers Australia is highly desirable.
