About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our APAC team. In this role, you will identify interest in DroneDeploy from key accounts and conduct cold outreach to schedule qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executives (AEs).

Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
As a BDR, you will work strategically with AEs to target net new accounts and expand existing customer accounts. You will research companies that fit DroneDeploy's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), develop tailored messaging strategies, and conduct detailed discovery conversations to drive pipeline generation at DroneDeploy.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed your monthly and quarterly goals by generating qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification.
  • Work in partnership with Account Executives to build account strategies, territory plans, and outreach campaigns.
  • Research intent signals to find companies considering our products and services or similar solutions on the market.
  • Provide the best possible customer experience to all prospects (leads) from net new and existing customer accounts as they move through the qualification process.
  • Qualify leads based on frameworks such as SPICED, MEDDIC, BANT, or other sales methodologies.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings between the Account Executive team and decision-makers at new companies or existing customer accounts.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have previous cold outbound sales or sales development experience (1+ years) and demonstrated success in achieving quota as a BDR or similar role in a SaaS or sales environment.
