Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Supply Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is primarily based in Fawkner, with occasional visits to Tullamarine. Reporting to the Planning Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing both locally manufactured products and imported materials, acting as a vital link between Customer Service, Demand Planning, and Local Manufacturing or external supply sources.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage in all safety initiatives within the Supply Chain Team.
- Oversee the Supply Planning Process, including the creation of Master Production Schedules for Australian work centers and maintaining detailed schedules on MIMI Control purchase requisitions aligned with tactical plans and inventory targets.
- Generate material forecasts based on S&OP/tactical plans for critical suppliers and buyers, ensuring alignment with agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate any non-conformance issues to the procurement team.
- Prepare and facilitate the Supply Planning meeting as part of the formal S&OP/IBP process.
- Provide support to team members during leave coverage.
- Participate in annual stock takes and other relevant activities.
- Conduct general reporting for the ANZ business as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Supply Chain role.
- Tertiary qualifications in a Supply Chain discipline are preferred.
- CPIM APICS certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP as an MRP tool is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of Six Sigma, Lean, and Kepner Tregoe methodologies.
- Developing business acumen skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
