Occupational Therapist in Residential Aged Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our residential aged care team. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older adults.

The Opportunity
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy programs that cater to the unique needs of residents.
  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to identify functional, cognitive, and social impairments.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to set goals and annual care plans.
  • Design and deliver evidence-based interventions to address functional impairments.
  • Provide guidance and support to Therapy staff in program design and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation aligned with aged care standards, WHS/OHS, and accreditation requirements.
You'll Bring
  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree and current AHPRA registration.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A sound understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and WHS/OHS protocols.
  • Previous aged care experience, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Compliance with National Police Check (within 6 months) and current influenza vaccination, as well as other applicable vaccination requirements.
