Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our Greenfields, state-of-the-art rPE recycling facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with WHSE procedures and directions, and follow reasonable instructions to achieve Goal Zero.
  • Participate in all Company training on Quality Policies and Procedures, and uphold those standards.
  • Contribute to product quality through inspection and testing, as specified on Operator Instruction sheets.
  • Advise Supervisors or Technicians promptly of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance, or People issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, with a final clean-up at the end of each shift.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Be an active member of the operations team through open and honest communication.

Requirements

  • Experience in operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.
  • Experience in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or store environment is preferred.
  • Experience in handling dangerous goods is preferred, with training available.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely, effectively, and productively.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience of working within and actively contributing to a Continuous Improvement environment.

Qualifications

  • Current Forklift License.
