Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Catering Team Member to join our team in Bathurst. As a Catering Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing excellent dining services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
- Assist with meal preparation, including food handling and storage.
- Provide a positive and respectful dining experience for residents, responding to their needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Support the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
- NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
