Cloud Engineering Role

We're looking for an experienced cloud engineer to lead our team in developing world-class products.

About the Job

This is a unique opportunity to bring Java and Kubernetes-based applications to the cloud. Our platform is built on Kubernetes and AWS, with the goal of deployability anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Influence strategy around platform and service architectures.
  • Develop new capabilities to engineering standards, focusing on SaaS and cloud enablement.
  • Work within and across teams to develop a cohesive deploy-your-way platform.
  • Participate in planning, backlog grooming, and technical design discussions; document features thoroughly; maintain high code quality; conduct and participate in code reviews.
  • Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices.
  • Provide maintenance support and actively pursue learning opportunities.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience with cloud, developing and operating a SaaS product in a Kubernetes ecosystem.
  • AWS and production SaaS operations experience highly desirable.
  • Experience with IaC, cloud automation, observability, cost optimization, and reliability engineering is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and senior-level technical experience; ability to learn and be proactive.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within and across teams.
  • Passion for learning and developing skills in Java, Elasticsearch, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers.
