Job Role

This is a Casual Weekend Driver position, working part-time hours. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for completing all aspects of delivery runs in compliance with the Agreed Delivery Method.

The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate deliveries to our customers, handling inventory and interacting with customers in a professional manner. They will drive company vehicles and participate in general warehouse housekeeping at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate food safety, quality, and hygiene standards, as well as Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices.
  • Utilize equipment correctly, reporting any faults or issues, and bulk load vehicles according to run totals.
  • Deliver products In Full On Time (DIFOT) and pick up empty crates and dollies from customers, adhering to store regulations.
  • Liaise with customers to develop strong business relationships and accurately complete forms related to duties performed.
  • Work autonomously when required and maintain high attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physical fitness for the role, requiring ability to lift/lower up to 20kgs safely.
  • Current Victorian driving license - MR essential, HR desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to the role.
