Ivory Group is a leading organization in the public sector, seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team on a temporary contract. As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with a management team that is passionate about the growth and development of all employees.
About the Role
This is a 6-month full-time contract opportunity, reporting to the Procurement Manager. You will be part of a dynamic team of six staff members, each specializing in their own sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development of Requests for Tender (RFTs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
- Reviewing contracts for the engagement of suppliers.
- Recommending improvements for current processes or customer service.
- Managing risk and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and tendering guidelines.
Key Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, including a Diploma of Government Procurement and Contracting.
- Proven experience in the management of Tendering, RFQs, EOIs, and Selective Tendering.
- High level of autonomy and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Prior Local Government experience is highly desirable.
