Ivory Group is a leading organization in the public sector, seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team on a temporary contract. As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with a management team that is passionate about the growth and development of all employees.

About the Role

This is a 6-month full-time contract opportunity, reporting to the Procurement Manager. You will be part of a dynamic team of six staff members, each specializing in their own sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development of Requests for Tender (RFTs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
  • Reviewing contracts for the engagement of suppliers.
  • Recommending improvements for current processes or customer service.
  • Managing risk and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and tendering guidelines.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, including a Diploma of Government Procurement and Contracting.
  • Proven experience in the management of Tendering, RFQs, EOIs, and Selective Tendering.
  • High level of autonomy and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Prior Local Government experience is highly desirable.
