Youth Services Manager Position

This role presents a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of youth services across the Northern Territory with a focus on community-led development.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong strategic relationships with local communities and key stakeholders, contributing to the review consolidation and growth of youth services in the region, driving implementation of national practice frameworks at the local level, championing the mission and values of The Salvation Army through involvement in local leadership teams, ensuring services are resourced funded and aligned with The Salvation Army's Youth Model of Care, and providing day-to-day operational leadership and quality assurance across all youth programs.

Requirements
  • Hold a degree qualification in social work welfare community development or a related field and possess relevant experience including senior management experience.
  • Demonstrate a high-level understanding of contemporary youth work practices.
  • Have experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the sector.
  • Obtain a current Working with Children Check for the relevant state.
  • Possess a valid Drivers Licence.
