Senior Legal Lead for APAC Technology Operations

The successful candidate will lead the APAC legal function in Sydney, overseeing a range of commercial agreements including SaaS contracts, partnership deals and vendor agreements.

This is an opportunity to provide strategic guidance on emerging technology trends and their legal implications through a commercial lens. You will handle multiple deals while offering business and legal advice to colleagues and teams internationally, maintaining a clear focus on company priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and support to various business units, including procurement, sales and partnerships.
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Offer strategic guidance on emerging technology trends and their legal implications through a commercial lens.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum 10 years experience as a senior lawyer with expertise in technology law and a strong understanding of Australian data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS contracts and ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
