The Role
As a Heavy Combination licensed driver, you will be responsible for operating a semi-trailer configured as either a powder tanker or semi-tipper. This opportunity is available at our Kilburn site, where you will be responsible for loading and delivering raw materials to multiple sites within the Adelaide Metro area.
You will primarily work day shifts five days a week, with set start times, and enjoy a competitive hourly rate along with opportunities for regular paid overtime.
In this position, you will work in a supportive team environment where your contribution will be valued. You will meet a diverse group of people and have the autonomy to ensure that our raw materials are delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and deliver raw materials to internal and external sites as required.
- Maintain safety, health & environment standards.
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and mass management requirements.
- Complete basic documentation.
- Build professional customer relationships.
- Keep the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.
Requirements:
- Current HC drivers licence and ability to provide driver licence history check.
- Professional approach to heavy vehicle operation with thorough knowledge of CoR requirements.
- Reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer service.
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity to work independently.
- Previous tipper or tanker experience is advantageous but not required.
