Unlock Potential as a Counsellor and Group Facilitator
">Deliver impactful one-on-one counselling, group psychoeducation, and relapse prevention sessions to support young people aged 12-25 who are navigating challenges with alcohol and other drugs.
">This is a part-time, fixed-term role (3 days per week) located in Liverpool, with opportunities for travel to schools to deliver workshops and provide outreach counselling services.
">Key Responsibilities:">- Provide individual and group psychosocial counselling to young people aged between 12-25 years old who present with alcohol and other drug use.
- Facilitate comprehensive and holistic psychosocial assessments to determine context/needs relating to alcohol and other drug use, mental health, physical health, and socio-environmental factors.
- Develop and implement tailored plans to promote improved physical and psychological well-being, and enhance client autonomy and self-management.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and service providers to ensure seamless support and transition.
- Design and facilitate regular contact and follow-up support for clients engaged in the program.
- Hold a qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology and be eligible for accreditation.
- Prior experience working with young people in a counselling context is essential.
- A valid NSW Working With Children's Check Clearance and current NSW Driver's Licence are mandatory.
