Programmed, a leading provider of managed workforce and training services, is seeking a skilled tradesperson to join their team in the Bayside Area of Melbourne.

This role involves working within the food manufacturing industry across two facilities on a 7x day fortnight (12-hour shifts).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Service, repair, and maintain various equipment.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Interpreting workshop/engineering drawings.
  • Prioritizing work tasks.
  • Working unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Holding a mechanical aptitude.

Required qualifications include:

  • Trade Certificate.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing facility.
  • Strong safety culture.
  • Production maintenance experience.
  • Systems knowledge.
  • Desire to learn.
