About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused individual to join our team as an MPU Trainee in the Hunter Valley. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the mining industry, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation of Mobile Processing Units (MPU) for the delivery and loading of bulk explosives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Support senior operators in the preparation and execution of blasting activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations and materials used.
  • Study a certificate III in surface extraction.
Requirements
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Driver's license (HR license preferred).
  • Willing to obtain a NSW UHL licence.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Previous experience in the mining or construction industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Right to work documents.
  • Able to pass a 043 Coal board medical & Drug Test.
  • Supply 2 work place references.
