AI Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a Legal Counsel with expertise in global laws, including privacy, AI, online safety, marketing, accessibility, and consumer laws.
This role is ideal for a business-minded lawyer who can navigate fast-paced environments, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and marketers.
As a member of our Product and Privacy team, you will contribute to the development and operationalization of company-wide AI policies, processes, and legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and maintain legal playbooks and internal guidance related to AI tools and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with privacy, IP, security, regulatory, and engineering teams.
- Help build scalable and effective processes for legal review to enable the launch of new products.
- Participate in the review and coordination of potential privacy or data security incidents, including investigations, notifications, and other resolution efforts.
Requirements:
- Legally qualified (AUS/NZ, UK, EU, or US practicing certificate).
- 3-6 years practicing law with some experience in-house, preferably in a technology company.
- Familiarity with key digital, privacy, and consumer protection regulations.
- Comfortable collaborating with team members in other time zones.
