Position Overview:

We seek a seasoned network connections professional to lead our network business unit. This strategic and technically proficient leader will guide a high-performing team in assessing and enabling new connections to the NSW transmission system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading technical assessments for optimal outcomes.
  • Investigating wide-area system issues impacting generator connections and developing robust solutions with stakeholders.
  • Supporting and motivating team members to drive a high-performance work culture.
  • Fostering a continuous improvement culture to ensure team capabilities remain current and aligned with evolving business needs.

About You

You have a degree in Electrical Engineering and professional qualifications (CPEng, RPEQ). With extensive experience in leading generator connections and compliance, you possess knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and processes governing Connections, including the National Electricity Rules (NER). Proficiency in PSSE, PSCAD software, and wide area network assessments is also required.
