Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a programming calendar for JYG, including activities and events that cater to the interests of tweens.
  • Collaborate with the Rabbi and Youth Committee Chair to ensure alignment with Temple Israel's goals and objectives.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue booking, transportation, and budgeting.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, tweens, and Temple staff to promote events and activities.
  • Develop and maintain a budget for JYG, including financial planning and cost recovery.
  • Engage in fundraising efforts to support JYG programming.

Requirements:

  • Experience in youth programming and event planning.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong aptitude with Canva and other design tools.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with tweens and a commitment to creating engaging and inclusive programming. This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 12-15 hours of work per month.
