About the Centre

The hospital is a leading provider of emergency services, with a 20-bed Emergency Medical Unit and a strong focus on research and education. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of innovative emergency medicine services.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced emergency medicine specialist with a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for providing specialist emergency services to adult and paediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. You will also be expected to participate in the development of emergency medicine services and contribute to the education and training of junior staff.

Requirements

  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • Hold or be eligible for FACEM
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level
  • ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM
  • IMG's who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable
