Social Worker Grade 1

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker Grade 1 to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a key member of our Social Work Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective intervention plans.
- Liaise with patients, families, and carers to coordinate and facilitate patient treatment and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement and research activities to enhance patient care and services.
- Promote positive relationships within the department, organization, and community partners.
- Bachelor Degree or Qualifying Masters in Social Work.
- Experience in a hospital inpatient care setting is essential.
- Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Working with Children's Check desirable.
