Indigenous Liaison Officer Role

This position is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to the community. As an Indigenous Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for building positive working relationships with local communities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with local communities and build strong relationships
  • Collaborate with service providers to enhance the experience and impact of First Nations people in employment and skills programs
  • Provide cultural intelligence and support to staff and senior executives
  • Actively engage with key stakeholders to improve industry, employer and participant awareness and uptake of our programs
  • Lead and contribute to Closing the Gap initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A driver's licence is essential
  • Demonstrated experience working with First Nations communities and organisations is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs is essential

Eligibility:

These positions are only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
