We are seeking a highly skilled trade professional to join our team in Newcastle operations.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment, as well as performing repair work on cranes, installations of cranes, hoists and materials handling equipment.

Key duties include fitting fabricated metal parts into products, assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment, and checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments.

To succeed in this role, applicants must have a Mechanical Trade qualification, previous experience within the Crane industry, and strong organisational skills and time management.

Additionally, a safety-conscious attitude, ability to promote a safe environment, and availability to work overtime and travel to remote sites when required, are essential qualities for this position.
