About Us

We're seeking a dedicated teacher to inspire our students in English and Humanities within a Christian environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging teaching programs or courses of study that cater to diverse student needs;
  • Demonstrate expertise in content knowledge and pedagogical practice;
  • Maintain a child-safe environment, adhering to child safety standards;
  • Participate in child safety induction and training, following the school's policies and procedures;
  • Act according to our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
  • Identify and address child safety issues, following our Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures;
  • Foster open communication with students, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes;
  • Promote the school's vision and values through modeling and leadership;
  • Monitor student attendance and progress, implementing effective student management strategies;
  • Collaborate with staff members, participating in regular meetings and devotions.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of eligibility to work in Australia;
  • Proof of identity;
  • Qualifications in teaching and education;
  • Clearance status for Working with Children Check (where applicable);
  • Registration with Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
  • Statements of service from previous roles working with children;
  • References from previous child-connected roles.
