We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technology Lecturer to join our team at the HEALing Community Center. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering teaching excellence in veterinary technology and engaging in academic research activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching programs in veterinary technology, including best practice in low stress animal handling, internal medicine, surgery, and anaesthesia.
- Contribute to research advancements in veterinary technology and veterinary science, generating publications and participating in research activities and collaborations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to students, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation in veterinary education.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships, ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of our teaching programs.
- A degree in Veterinary Science or a related field, plus relevant postgraduate or equivalent experience, accreditation, and standing.
- A record of research or professional activity relevant to the discipline area.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching.
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to build networks and partnerships within the veterinary industries to achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership within the discipline related to teaching and/or research or professional activity.
