About the Role

The Master Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling all work across the project lifecycle. This includes creating detailed programs and monitoring performance to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget in accordance with UGL procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement strategic planning approaches for all work and projects, including reviewing and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and manage a Master Schedule that schedules all asset works on the CRN.
  • Create a rolling 3-year possession plan based on efficient delivery of the 3MWP and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Project Managers to develop a tendering and procurement schedule for contractors as part of the Master Schedule.
  • Work with Procurement and Project Managers to develop a schedule for long lead-time materials as part of the Master Schedule.
  • Establish systems and processes for project handovers and manage project transitions between CRN and TfNSW.
  • Ensure adherence to the CRN TAO plan across all projects.
  • Verify that project planning activities comply with UGL policies and procedures.
  • Support and challenge Project Managers in developing their Project Plans and schedules.
  • Review and maintain planning and scheduling assumptions across the program and project portfolio.
  • Provide regular reporting to UGL and TfNSW on schedule status and risks.
  • Maintain and implement Project Controls (EVM) processes on projects.
  • Lead the Planning Team and support the Project Management Teams and wider business.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Construction, or Project Management. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Rail Maintenance or a similar environment is essential, along with demonstrated expertise in scheduling and organizing multi-discipline programs of work.

You should have excellent communication skills, be able to lead a team, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
