About the Role

The Research Interviewer will conduct face-to-face interviews with individuals who regularly inject drugs at designated sites for the Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS).

The role involves participating in virtual training sessions, reading manuals and interviewing resources, conducting practice interviews, and attending briefings. You will follow clear instructions from the team on health and safety training, data collection training, and data entry training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured face-to-face interviews
  • Support the data collection team by completing interviews in a timely manner
  • Report any issues to the team coordinator
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements

You will need experience collecting quantitative data or conducting interviews as part of a research project in Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD). Basic knowledge of drugs is desirable. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of people are also required.

  • Participate in virtual training sessions
  • Have good communication skills
