Operational Risk Specialist Role

Job Summary:

This challenging role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. As an Operational Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, mitigating, and monitoring key risks within Credit Control Services operations by implementing appropriate control environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop risk assessments and establish operational controls and tests based on risk evaluations.
  • Act as a risk and control SME for CCS, ensuring management understanding of risks, controls, ownership, and accountability.
  • Identify and mitigate key risks within CCS operations.
  • Cultivate Operational Risk disciplines within CCS teams and implement Risks and Control Frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of operational risk and controls, preferably gained through experience in front-line and risk roles.
  • A good understanding of the Group's Operational Risk Framework.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with ability to consider alternative solutions.
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills.
