Job Description

The Loss Prevention Clerk is a vital role within our organization, responsible for maintaining the highest level of safety and security within our warehouse perimeter. This position requires knowledge of industry procedures, relevant laws, and loss prevention best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the warehouse and perimeter to monitor and address any safety or security concerns
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company policies and applicable laws related to loss prevention duties
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
  • Investigate and report on internal and external theft threats, as well as provide expert testimony in court when necessary
  • Collaborate with other area businesses to share information and best practices regarding local theft threats
Requirements
  • Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery safely and efficiently
  • High school certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Pass a satisfactory background check
