Plant Layout Designer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Ascot, WA. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing plant layout design for mineral process plants and bulk material handling projects.

  • Preparing detailed plant layouts and drawings as per project requirements
  • Reviewing vendor designs and data
  • Contribute technical assistance to provide design solutions in consultation with Lead Designer and Lead Engineer
  • Maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation produced for activities under their control
  • Liaising with relevant personnel to produce accurate design documentation
  • Designing with all relevant disciplines and ensuring coordination of multi-disciplined activities

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A solid background in mineral processing and bulk materials handling projects
  • Advanced Diploma of Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience with Solid Edge desirable; training provided
  • A minimum of 10 years' design experience
  • Knowledge of current design and detail drafting standards
  • Detailed knowledge of CAD design packages and CAD systems (AutoCAD preferred)
  • Understanding of EPC and EPCM culture goals
  • High level communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context
  • Full and unrestricted Australian work rights
