Seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead industrial utilities and HVAC design projects.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering, design coordination, client communication, and construction administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams of engineers and designers on design projects.
  • Perform site inspections and observations, which may be physically demanding.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • OBTAIN Registered Professional Engineer (RPE) certification within the first year of employment in Virginia and/or Maryland.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program required.
  • 5-20 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with industrial utility and HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of Building Codes including Mechanical Code and Plumbing Code.
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE, ACGIH and SMACNA Standards.
