We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Urgent Care team. As a vital member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist RNs in providing patient care for injuries or illnesses
- Perform care activities including vaccinations, wound care, and patient education
- Conduct diagnostic tests as directed by RNs
- Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with policies and procedures
- Support patient services, greeting patients, monitoring appointment books, and updating registration details
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Experience in primary care settings, with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
