Job Title:

Mandarin Speaking Support Worker

Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mandarin speaking support worker to join our team. As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Your main duties will include assisting participants in activities of daily living, such as social support, domestic assistance, and promoting participant choice and positive routines.

You will work closely with other support services to ensure that participants receive the best possible care and support.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support, or enrolled in related studies. You will also need experience working with people with disability and a passion for bringing out the best in others through a positive approach.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
  • A Driver Licence (required)
  • First Aid Certification (required)
  • Working with Vulnerable People Registration (required)

You will also need to be available to work shifts and have a good understanding of the NDIS and its principles.
