Apparel Textile Designer: Design Original Artworks and Illustrations

As a key member of our Girlswear Graphics department, you will work closely with the Graphic Design Manager and product teams to design and develop original artworks and illustrations across placement prints and yardage artworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating yardage and placement prints in line with our brand guidelines
  • Maintaining a print resource library and developing trend booklets at the start of each season
  • Continually researching and developing trend and print concepts
  • Working across different buyers and subcategories within the brand
  • Liaising with suppliers on artwork, layout dimensions, and color requirements
  • Producing garment CADs of our product range

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Mac, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within a similar retail textiles role
  • Graphic/textile design experience within retail fashion with fabric knowledge and yardage print experience
  • Strong illustration skills and a natural creative flair
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management skills
