About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Student and Academic Services team as a Student Service Adviser. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to students, ensuring their academic journey is successful and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice, assistance, and information to students via phone, email, and chat
  • Act as the first point of contact for students, responding to various queries and issues related to student services
  • Deliver quality customer service and process variations to students' records concerning their academic progress
  • Work collaboratively with academic units and other central units to develop and maintain student-facing services, policy, information systems, and procedural frameworks
About the Student and Academic Services Unit

The Student and Academic Services (SAS) Unit provides senior leadership, guidance, and services to enable the University to maximize the success and experience of all UniSA students. We act as a key partner and facilitator with academic units, working collaboratively with other central units to develop and maintain student-facing services, policy, information systems, and procedural frameworks.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience within a customer-focused role
  • A can-do, solutions-focused approach to supporting students and staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to apply policies and procedures in response to queries
  • A commitment to teamwork and personal and professional development
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and administration and information systems (experience with PeopleSoft, CRM, POS, or similar is desirable)
