About the Role
Hastings Deering is seeking an experienced IT Learning Support Specialist to join our team in Southbank, QLD. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that will play a key role in supporting the SDI Industrial Digital Technology Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum that aligns with skills gaps, employee development plans, and industry trends.
- Lead the creation and implementation of practices and processes to ensure the Program's capability is sufficient to support the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Empower teams with meaningful career pathways and provide support throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Work with Program leaders to identify and address learning, training, and capability requirements to execute the delivery of SDI Digital Technology strategy.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to IT graduates, including working with Graduate Delivery leaders to manage requirements during rotation/tenure.
- Promote regular and ongoing opportunities for employees to provide feedback through surveys, joint retrospectives, and consultative forums.

Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in an IT learning specialist role, Capability Specialist role, or equivalent.
- Professional qualification in Project, Program Management.
- Experience working with Agile methodology is highly desirable.
- Experience with business process improvement methods.
- Experience in the development of operational policies and SOPs.
- Strong communication and stakeholders engagement skills.
