Job Title: Experienced Java EE System Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java EE system administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing operational and project support for critical production and non-production systems.

  • Installing, upgrading and managing J2EE application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic) and Linux operating systems (Suse, Red Hat).
  • Supporting release and deployment of new Java EE applications across development, testing and production environments.
  • Administering MuleSoft APIs and ensuring systems are managed to agreed service levels and data integrity standards.
  • Monitoring and reviewing system performance and applying correct operational procedures.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in application server administration (WebSphere, WebLogic) and Linux systems. Exposure to MuleSoft API administration is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and performance monitoring skills.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties (evenings and weekends).
  • Experience across both public and private sector environments will be well regarded.
