Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Transmission Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective contract and supplier management.

About the Role:
  • Manage subcontract and supply agreements across assigned projects
  • Execute project sourcing plans in compliance with contractual requirements
  • Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers, ensuring appropriate risk allocation and alignment with main contract provisions
  • Monitor supplier performance and contractual obligations, including handling variations and claims
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to internal purchasing policies and procedures
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements, promoting efficiency and quality across the procurement cycle
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
Key Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Contract Administration, ideally in project-driven or multinational environments
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in English and SAP systems
  • Familiarity with Australian procurement regulations or willingness to learn is a plus
