Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Costco Wholesale Ipswich. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that our warehouse is well-stocked and organized, and providing excellent customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Restock supplies and merchandise to ensure that our shelves are fully stocked and our members have access to the products they need.
  • Operate garbage compactor and cardboard baler to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Check daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs to ensure that our warehouse is running smoothly.
  • Assist with installing and repairing building displays and fixtures to maintain a visually appealing and functional warehouse.
  • Maintain grounds outside warehouse, including blowing leaves, picking up litter, and building maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our members.
  • Follow proper Maintenance and general safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Respond quickly to and clean up spills to prevent accidents and maintain a clean warehouse.
  • Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary to ensure that our members receive excellent customer service.
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and vendors to ensure a positive experience at Costco Wholesale Ipswich.

Requirements:

  • Higher School Certificate or higher.
  • Janitor, maintenance or comparable experience.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail.
