Instrument Tutor Position

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Tutor to join our team of music educators. As a tutor, you will provide private lessons to students of all ages throughout the week and on weekends.

Lectures can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes long. While experience in teaching is ideal, it's not required. You will need to have a stable schedule for weekly lessons.

  • Be studying or have a background in music or education
  • Help students build technical skills, knowledge on music theory and confidence in performance
  • Cater to a student's goal and desired genres while developing their tastes
  • Have experience with or a willingness to learn about examinations such as AMEB, Rockschool and Trinity
Requirements:

A friendly, patient and welcoming approach to students

An enthusiasm for teaching and music

Confident English-speaking abilities

The successful candidate must hold a Working with Children Check and have the right to work in Australia.
